IAM JAMES RUTHER FORD

jvl narasimha rao

AM JAMES RUTHER FORD

Thou art greater than many languages
Though hast devoured several languages
Though hast produced many sages
For many people thou earn a lot of wages

thy comedies depict us beautiful flowers
Thy tragedies cause us inconsolable tears
For many ears thy voice pleases
To compete with you every other language fears

Thou art born in Europe
Thou art the language of the pope
Thy name appears even on the soap
Thou give me inestimable hope
To climb the intellectual hill thou art the tall rope
How can I come down from your slope?

Though hast given birth to many eminent kings
For many poets thou glory brings
How beautifully many a bard sings
Thy monopoly sometimes stings

Thou art the food for linguistics
Thou art good for phonetics
Thou art the watch word for politics
May I salute your gymnastics?

Thou rulest the world
Thou hast uncountable word
My soul flies like the eagle bird
My name is Mr James Rutherford

    jvl,

That is a great picture of the 19th President of the United States...an advocate of social and educational reform. He believed in equal treatment without regard to race!

    Your exceptional poem speaks volumes!
    Awesome!
