Your Face

Jenn2009

My heart beats a little faster when I see you.
My face shines like the brightest star.
My thoughts of you are never far
Can't bear to be away from you
I long for the next time I see your face
But I know nothing can ever happen

My heart sings a song, a melody that I hope yours only hears
I love your face, your smile
Can't bear to be away from you
I dream of your face
But nothing can ever happen

My heart is split it's broken in two
My face is aligned with tears
You have invaded me
Can't bear to be away from you
It hurts to see your face
Nothing is going to happen

Because you're not mine
You belong to another
Can't bear to be away from you
I will just be content looking at your face
Though nothing can ever happen
