Crabs In The Bucket

Cindy Christmas

They don't want you to excel

Because they don't want you to do well.

They don't want to help one another.

They rather pull down each other.

Every time you try to make it to the top,

they pull you back down in their slot,

And they try to take every cent that you got,

Until there is no more money in your pocket

Because they're like crabs in the bucket.
