I don't want it back
It wasn't meant for me
It wasn't supposed to be this way
We were to grow old together
Two grumpy old ladies
Complaining and chatting about the old days
I remember when, or these kids don't know how good they have it
And what about that music
I never thought it would be like this
I didn't want it back
It wasn't meant for me

- Comment from author about the poem: This is in memory of my Best Friend Andrea who passed away. Sept 11,2017. She was only 35. We we're friends for over 30 yrs. I will wrote more about her this the future.
