When Alice Was 12.

When Alice was 12 when she fell in love with Alice in Wonderland
So she followed her down through this hole, it looked so grand
With bolts of lightning and ghostly spirits turning the other way
It was then when she looked up to see a bright summers day
Where is the Wonderland as she took a look around 
Her eyes were wide open when in this old place she'd found
The sound of sea, what could that be as she took a peaky look
It was an island where Winnie the Poe was reading his book
The bees and the bears ran up to Alice and said "how'd ya do?
A welcome of love in this book Alice had always somehow knew
Then once upon a time where Disney was wearing Pluto's shoes
It didn't really matter by then because of Chitty bang bang news
"Oh well," said Doc, "moaning me," said grumpy and the others
But, Snow White went to Bulgaria to meet her greedy brothers 
So, Happy was heart touched when he met the Wizard Of OZ
And Toto too took off and started following the yellow brick roads
But, sat upon Humpty Dumpy and all his king's great men
Putting Jack in the box seemed quite impossible, but then 
Bashful became shy again he just hung up the washing to dry 
Was sleepy who kept things in order with keeping an open eye
And the Alices' guard cards could put Humpty on his wall again 
Donal Duck played Minnie Mouse only to find Bambi to blame
His poor little legs kept slipping and sliding falling as he fell apart
If only Bugs Bunny was around to give everyone a head start
But. Walt Disney sent out Tasmania Devils to find Tony Browne
Although he was was drunk he stands up with his head down
If Mowgli and Baloo would sing who's the King of swingers
Sheer Khan waggled his tail through a load of sticky stingers
Then came along Alice to catch up with Tinman with Auntie May
There's no place like home, there's no place like home anyway
As Dumbo asked Dopey when does the clock begin to tock
but, Dopey returned to bed so he could listen to himself tick
And as winter started closing in on all of Disneys characters
There's sure to be another film which will fill in all the chapters
But' there's a new book out now called. 'Just A Poet, Just A Poem'
It's a new book of adventure so it's time to go out and buy it
There's everything from love, life and all you need to know
So. I'm sorry to say it, but sadly it's time for me to go.
