Ain't Life a Bitch

David De La Cruz

I know I'm no big prize

I do still try

To make you realize

That I'm thankful to have been

In your lives

I know I've done my wrong

And sometimes still do

I never meant to say

All those hurtful things to you

I know now that you're gone

I've lost my worth living

I have no reason to speak

Nothing worth giving

No friends

no family

not even a pet

but still thankful for meeting everyone I've met

I know none of this makes any real sense

But ain't life a Bitch though..

  • Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this one a while back, it's just taking me a while to let it go..... I wrote it in regards to all my friends and to the ones who never could stop blaming others for their mistakes. Anyways.. Thanks for viewing
