Sometimes I wonder
If lightning and thunder
Would strike and sound
Signal the rain to drown me under
But the sun beams stronger
Breaking through clouds
Brighter and longer
Till the moon comes out
My nightly guide
With stars by her side
Giving me life
And new reasons to thrive
