Ordinary

Gino

Ordinary sinking,
Summer fleeting,
...Mingling in the early sunshine,
With a daring evening rain,
Where faith sinks in the reign,
...Soaking those wasteful hours,
Whilst waiting for something,
Or someone to show me the way

Tired of watching wave
After longer rave,
Reaching the other side of the world,
...Lounging in an intermittent fold,
While holding to every word,
In the cold that bears your name...

Conversations, ailing
Pretty sunshine aching,
Don't sweep your promises under the rain,
For I am failing, and it's so draining,
...As yesterday's pour, is consequential
To today's pain...
