Where am I?

Reyas

Eyes open,

I’m choking on smoke,

There’s a fire crackling in front of me.

Where am I?

A noise,

Laughter, worse than a hyenas cackle.

My eyes land upon the silhouette through the flame.

A man...no a female..? I have no idea.

Dark eyes meet mine through the ever burning flame,

That’s when I feel the pain in my side.

I look down to find a crimson river flowing onto the ground beside me,

What has happened?

My eyes heavy,

I fall into unconsciousness.

Sounds like ya stepped into a bonfire, or into some witches' brewing pot! I'll hose ya down!

Haha, thank you! And actually when writing this I didn’t really answer the question myself so I guess it ends up being your own imagination that decides the whereabouts 🙂
