I miss you

Tris Eaton

I'm so bored
Feel like I've got nothing to do
But the reality is
I'm just missing you

Missing your voice
How sweet it was to my ears
Missing your smile
Thinking of it nearly brings me to tears

It has been nearly two months
Since I last got to hold you
I was wiping tears from your face
And you were wiping them from mine too

Missing you makes me crazy
I can't wait for you to come home
I know it's hard for you too
But it sucks feeling so alone

I know you'll be back soon
And I hold onto that everyday
I'll always wait for you
And soon enough we'll have our way

I love you so much
You have so many charms
Honey, you are so amazing
And soon we'll be in each other's arms

  • Comment from author about the poem: So my boyfriend is currently in basic training for the army and asked me a little while ago to send him some poems but coming up with good poems on the spot is hard for me. I wrote one but I don't think it was all that good. I'm sure he'd argue with me though. I just thought of this one and I think it was good enough to share on here.
