Hush

Not

Smile is amazing,
speaks like a painting

Tastes refine,
brightest mind

Lips plant silent blessings,

blush blooms fields of gold

  • Comment from author about the poem: I tried to invoke the image of person with their mouth closed. The first two lines are suppose to mean the person isn't audibly speaking, just their presence and what they do says a lot. And the middle set of lines says the person is intelligent. So there's this connection between not speaking and being intelligence. The last set of lines says a lot. To "plant" lips means to kiss, but its also means to plant a seed. "silent blessings" describes whats being planted. A quiet kiss, or the seeds are silence. The last line can literally mean the result of a kiss is blushing brightly, and abstractly mean planting silence yields gold. Gold is a symbol of intelligence, hence bright mind mentioned earlier. So this altogether means, this silent and intelligent person, kisses/plants silence onto you, and the result is you blush "brightly" or attain "gold". Meaning you've become "intelligent" like them, and thus, also must have also silent. A silent kiss makes another person silent.
