You Dont Cough Anymore

An Abstract View of Life

The bong sits idly in front of you as you hold the last hit deep inside your lungs and exhale the smoke all through out the room.

You don't cough anymore

The wave of euphoria washes over you. The pain and suffering of the day flows away from it. The fear and pain feel long past as the slow tingle sets in.

You don't cough anymore

The images roll in slowly. Flashes of joy from your past. The long drives stretching late into the night with your best friend.

You don't cough anymore

Memories of laughter and fun gallop through your brain. Their sweet scent, the joy in their laugh, the bright smile stretched across their lips.

You don't cough anymore

As the slide show in your head slowly closes you see your happiest moment. When you two laughed so hard you both started coughing like chain smokers. Coughing so much that it just led to more laughter ending in two idiots gasping for air. You felt like this is the person you want to spend you life with....

You don't cough anymore...
