Tick...tock...Tick...tock...
How much more time
is needed to heal
a despondent heart?
Tick...tock...Tick...tock...
Time is ever so slow
to continue this endless
cycle of torture and pain.
Tick-tock...Tick-tock...
It's gaining speed.
The seconds start to pass
like the wind that blows.
Tick...tock...Tick...tock...
I am laughing again;
the cure to a broken soul;
the sound of freedom.
Tick-tock, Tick-tock, Tick-tock...
The breeze blowing
through my hair as I
dance with the moonlight.
Tick-tock, Tick-tock, Tick-tock...
I am free! I am limitless!
I walk into each new day
like I am unstoppable.
Tick...
Happiness, motivation, passion
now rules my life.
Tock...
Time is by my side.
Time for me to fly!
Tick...
Ecstasy and freedom defeats
forlorn feelings against my heart.
Tock...
My goals, my dreams, my passions
have lead me to my success.
...
Only time can heal me.
Only time can set me free.
Only time can make me happy.
Only by time can success come.
But only I can change.

- Comment from author about the poem: I decided to change my style of writing a bit and test it out. This poem explains the cycle of pain and happiness. It is said that time heals all wounds. It is also said that it takes time to succeed. I was once told that I need to take time off to better myself. As you can see, the very last line, I wrote "But only I can change." Everything has always been about time, but time is useless if we choose not to change. We decide when to start improving ourselves. We decide the paths we take for success. We make our own choices to determine what is best for us. When we fall, and get hurt, time can't do anything unless we decide to get back up. If we choose to lay on the ground and give up, time is still moving. We are just wasting it. Where time moves is not in your control. What you can control is decisions; our ambitions.
