I wake up at 4 am about half the week, and spend 12 hours pretty isolated at work. I guess that could count, because I often write poetry during that time. As for feeling better, I think it takes more than writing for me.

WELCOME ESTHER ~ Thanks for your first Poem. It so describes the attitude of so Many Men ~ They see an elegant Young Lady as an opportunity to SCORE not an intellect to engage with. This is very sad and causes Ladies much angst ! Many of the Men on MPS are NOT like that ! Poets are ROMANTIC but NOT REPULSIVE. We like to flirt verbally and we like it to engage intellectually with the mind ~ not physically with our bodies. I like SYD\'s comment and my answer is in a similar vein. Many of the Ladies in my Social Circle (I am single but have a Lady Friend who I treat with respect) complain about the attitudes of Younger Men who just see them as sex objects !
