My Parents taught me to be stoical and keep my PAIN to myself and smile under all difficulties ! Now I\'m older (and especially among Friends) I bare it and share it ! The first six of your dozen verses, each focuses on an aspect of Hiding Pain the the Moonlight ! 1. Shining eyes 2. Bright smile 3. Soft mischievous voice 4. Blackened thoughts 5. Hidden Demons & Angels 6. Fluttering eyelashes.
The final six verses describes the Exposure of the PAIN in Daylight ! 7. Dark dull eyes 8. Cracked face 9. Hoarse voice 10. Hostage to pain 11. Unhappy mind 12. DAYLIGHT reveals the PAIN concealed in the MOONLIGHT. Very poignant ! My profession (Physiotherapist) is concerned with reducing PAIN (and increasing mobility) so, at work, I dont like to wear my pain on my sleeve ! Thanks for sharing more please. Yours ANGELA (N Z).
