Brilliant! a beautiful poem of trying to catch the ephemeral the uncatchable glimpse of something not able to be put in words but a sensation a feeling so real. Dream like and yet real. Lovely a fave

This poem of the passing of time is brilliant. It uses metaphors of pigeons on a roof top perch, when like time, approached they fly away. So nicely introduced without fanfare but subtly introduced to sit in the mind of the reader. The sun taken for granted like the moment shines on us all but unstoppable in its course continues to move on, bright in the moment.
\"a clock mocks,
ticking away regardless;
endless segments of nothing
and fragments of misplaced memory.\"
A wonderful passage so well worded of time. It is the last stanza that tells it all summarizing the whole in a monument that crumbles and is forgotten. This is a masterful piece. A fave

Desert of Dreams

I love the pairing of the sand of a beach with that of a desert and although not noted it comes to mind that one absent water and the other covered with it, in neither is there water to drink. Thirst, is this a metaphor? Very well written

Newport

Well written. Your poem \"Newport\" revolves around the interplay between nature and urban life, reflecting on how rain transforms the cityscape while also evoking emotions of nostalgia and melancholy. The imagery suggests a connection between the environment and human experiences, as the rain becomes a metaphor for tears and the passage of time.

So much metaphor in this poem. The perfect fingers and toes yet the broken doll still in the original wrapper and box. This feels dark. A powerful write still in the wrapper as well
