A baby loved and lost

WELCOME JW ~ Thanks for your first Poem ~ elegantly penned but with a bitter~sweet message. Those of us that are a bit older (Im 35 & my Fiancee Angela who shares this site is 30) have experienced stillbirth and neonatal death in our Communities & Extended Families. When it is a much loved & much wanted FIRST CHILD it is especially harrowing. Motherhood is an expectation for every Girl (I teach 17 - 30\'s in a College & Angela is a Physio) and for it to be snatched away is horrendous. We are both Christians and we liked your explanation that all \"short term\" babies re Angels ~ sent from Heaven to Bless and then to return to Heaven again. We have known some Christians who take this attitude and it is cathartic !
