that first line is so damning
yet full of concern..
thanks for sharing

Suffocated
L. B. Mek said:

(enjoyed your compendious wording
of such a complex, topic
and you maximised
that Pandora box, imagery
to full effect..
thanks for sharing and inspiring
my little scribbled reply)
sadly, in this brutal word
where ill-fate
can diagnose, you with awareness
yet seemingly grant
an entire planet with, wilful obliviousness
there\'s nowhere we can hide that box
safe enough
to insure the worst, won\'t come for us
at our weakest or most vulnerable, moment..
our only real choice, is to find a way
to add layers
to our exterior, to insure
we at least get a chance
to withstand the onslaught of strife
that will, inevitably
come our away, eventually...

A shrine you can’t replace
L. B. Mek said:

may *She* forever, rise-up
from her obstacles in life
as-if gracefully, taking
her next step
of personal growth, and
ascension of progress..
(just another great write!
to the right eyes
these words you weaved
can offer so much solace..
thank you! for choosing to share, dear Poet)

Perished
L. B. Mek said:

good to find an avenue of expression
to rid ourselves of this toxic wrongness
that is so prevalent in the world,
for
if we repress and try to ignore its presence
it will poison us from within..
expressively worded, liked the control
you showcased,
thanks for sharing, dear poet

The sad truth
L. B. Mek said:

and now, that inescapable journey
of self discovery, can truly begin..
try and have some fun, along the way
it\'s a rather long and bumpy, path
for All of us..
(thank for sharing, dear poet)

Philophobia
L. B. Mek said:

\'Maybe
the warmth of our skin
will never, be enough
to calm the fire, started
by what could have
never been

As our direness of a situation
is so, one sided
The hope
may be, all
we\'ve been granted
all, that we have.\'
(I hope you enjoy this writing thing, we do
because you have it in you, to voice
your Generation, dear Poet
aim High, you have the wings of Talent
to reach your dreams, If
and only If, you so wish to)

Why wonder so much?
L. B. Mek said:

deep questing
to shortcut avenues
in our passageways of life..
an intriguing read, yet again

Havoc within
L. B. Mek said:

\'Take
my hands
wreak
my havoc.
The flower, became brittle
from the ever-so touch
of your darkening, grace\'
if you have time
please lookup the deplorable origins
of the word/term cry \'havoc\',
to its origins
beyond, Shakespeare\'s use...
then realise
just how much insight
your words showcase, in this
brief write of acute awareness
of self and other\'s..
(if you already know
then you\'ll hopefully recognise
what a triumph of self worth
you\'ve penned here)
thanks for sharing, dear Poet
