Happy Birthday, Finch.
Thank you so much for the kind words on the way I write I appreciate it all that is said and I enjoy reading yours as well very good thank you for allowing me inside your world
Good Morning Edward, well it is morning in the UK. Thank you for you comment and message. Yes I too get ideas in all different situations so always keep a small notebook in my pocket to jot them down. Mind you there are times when I can't write them down, driving is one of them and you would be surprised how many ideas come to me while I am in the shower!
Being retired though I do have a better chance of writing down the ideas.
Thanks again for your comments, take care.

Goldfinch, you are very talented, and like me, you write daily. I just wish we were able to put more than one poem a day on this site. For me, the words just seem to come from nowhere. I really need to have a pen and paper with me at all times. Strangely enough, I've thought of lines while on my tractor mowing my lawn and then, the words are gone..poof! I have the general gist, but the exact wording isn't there! You are SO talented and I enjoy your writes. While you're farming, do poems come to you? How do you deal with it then? Isn't it discouraging when words are there and you have no way to put them down? I need to somehow retain and be able to convey them through my writing. Thanks again for sharing your writes with us!
Welcome to My poetic side!
Thank you Julian, I hope that I can do the site justice.
