wow! would it be inconsiderate of me to call your words beautiful..? forgive me, but your words and imagery are so artistically well done, so vivid. sometimes i feel the urge as well to \'fix\' myself. thank you for sharing.

Hide-and-seek with death

very interesting piece! I think I\'ve found another swiftie haha \"barefoot in the wildest winter\" and \"red rose from an ice-frozen ground\" but I like it. The lyrics sound great in your poem and the scene you describe is similar to the place I disappeared to when I heard folklore for the first time (only a little darker). Well done!

Tell me Mother
Crowns4Christ said:

So sad, she loves you,and is probably going through something and don\'t want to scare or worry you
As a mom myself, sometimes it\'s hard to talk to our children because,as much as we love,we don\'t want to think about our child hurting,it makes us think that we failed as a mom,but try to talk to her,you might be surprised by what she says.

Tell me Mother
Bella Shepard said:

I think sometimes the hardest relationships to understand are those of parents and children. My mom has been gone for 31 years and there are still those moments of regret, softened only a little by age. I wish I\'d talked to her more about who she was, and what she had wanted from life. It\'s never too late to have that conversation. You never know what you might share. Very well done!

Tell me Mother

Wow this is so sad. Just know that our parents, although seemingly hard to talk to, truly love us and want the best for us. I lost my mom and would give anything to be able to talk to her again and just pour my love onto her. But if we take the first step, then we may be able to discover that it really wasn\'t as hard as it appeared. Either way, nicely done!

I\'ll read more soon and comment(that\'s a promise, I don\'t give them lightly) Can you do me a favor, and check out my poem \"The Poem Of Our Lives\" there is a thread running between this poem and mine. Feedback please. Yours, Tj

Poetic dawn
Paul Bell said:

So basically you had a jammy day, dreaming of dead poets, then writing a poem. This is the way it should be, jammy days should be made law.

Am I really a poet?
Rocky Lagou said:

To answer your question: YES, YOU ARE A POET! Especially after reading this beauty I can say it with conviction. I feel like many people wouldn\'t consider themselves \"poets\" because they feel like it\'s an elusive goal that is beyond reach; but the reality is we\'re all poets at heart. \"Am I really a poet if I don’t feel anymore?\" I\'ve been living the apathetic life for quite a while now, after my mom\'s passing. So honestly lacking emotions just empowers you even more to write and that\'s what makes the poetry so much more impactful. Beautifully written! πŸŒŸπŸ‘
