a great, emotive poem

a little poetic reply of my own

(Athena, weaves
and we dance, off-beat
all left foot, first
not knowing, what twist
she\'ll add, \'to spice up\'
our lives.;
and, we dance
beneath fate\'s tears
no umbrellas, or gene and debbie happy endings
just regret, all the way
from our so-called, god\'s
and that seemingly blind, universe
to us, dots
on existence\'s radar
meek, dots
with heart\'s, glowing crimson
bruises, blazing
glowing, Proud
for we loved and were loved
once
and hope to love again, someday...
but what a costly bill, it all comes with
in those mists of hindsight\'s
self-accusatory pulsing, thorns...)
