I\'ve \'liked\' this, not of course because of someone being afflicted and in pain though! (your self-portrait).
I\'ve seen a tree like that one in your pic. Some more branches on it, but quite a famous tree over 400 years old. it has similar markings on it and has a guard-rail around it too.
It\'s behind some other trees in a tree-lined Avenue here in the UK. You over 400?!

A sweet little poem. It is tangibly sincere in its lovingly described details. Rhmn is right... sharing the sound of your lavender blooms is a perfect touch.

Flowers have beautiful looks and smell, but flowery sounds, never ever have I thought about that side. Thank you for the new perspective!

My Cat Sitting At The Door

Good write E.
I saw two cats in a porch-way. A chilly day. One cat was huddled on top of the other one partly, to keep them both warm. Ahhh! They had a bit of a shelter until they were let in though.

another elegant, poignant, sensitive poem
I have never had a blind animal, dog or cat, but I feel that because of your masterful writing, words and rhymes, I can relate

I like this
It is a wonderful poem of love and the best kind of passion
is the poem a total work of imagination or is there something personal about it ?
your or a friend\'s sadness
this I guess is not really my business

Fear In The Moonlight

this poem is perhaps simple, simply elegant and has a happy conclusion
it reminds me of a song, the Louvin brothers(charlie and Ira) and their song about aman confronting his beloved with another at night in a garden
the other man is her brother
I can\'t remember the exact name of the song, bet it\'s on YouTube

Very nice, Ellen. I try to write one a day to stretch my imagination and hopefully spur a reader or two to do likewise.
