The Epic of Saint Nicholas and Krampus

I loved this poem. I am not much for Christmas but it\'s legends and lore are wonderful. In poetic form you have told a story well with good flow and rhyme. It is mythological and epic in Greek myth form as to the battles. Loved it a fave

An Ode to Our True Ancestors (Overlords of All Creation)

My favorite portion of this poem were the first three sections where the wording was magnificent and majestic. This was a rather long and involved poem of what I call the music of the universe. A most lovely write that deserves a fave

My friend, this whole epic breathes. The science, the spirituality, the humor… it all folds together into something grounded and cosmic. You make the mycelial world feel intimate… almost familial. Stunning work. And yeah… it’s EPIC. Well done. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

My Own True Friend
sorenbarrett said:

Very nicely composed it also speaks a truth of mastering the inside to gain control of the outer part. There are parts of this poem that speak of uncertainty and confusion of misdirection and a desire to quit but in the end it is resolved with the understanding that in mastering oneself there is not only hope but the ability to go on. Well done

My Own True Friend

Well written, the poem revolves around self-acceptance and the journey toward self-compassion. It explores the struggle with self-criticism, the quest for external validation, and the eventual realization that embracing one\'s imperfections is essential to finding inner peace. The subject matter reflects personal growth, healing, and the complex relationship we have with ourselves, emphasizing that progress is often quiet and gradual rather than dramatic.

Loving oneself a theme of this poem. Such a misunderstood concept. Such love is more knowing and accepting than selfish narcissism and a prerequisite to loving anyone else. A lovely write

Happy Birthday, Melissa
Bella Shepard said:

Your poem, so lovingly written, speaks to celebration of a newly found connection that deserves celebration. My husband was adopted at birth, and never knew his biological parents. However, fate was kind to him, and at the age of 65 he was reunited with his birth father who was 88 at the time. We shared 12 wonderful years with him, before he died at age 100. I\'m so glad that fate was kind to you and Melissa. Wishing you many wonderful years getting to know each other.

I love how you have welded reality and myth to illustrate the unbelievable qualities of one of nature\'s wonders. It seems to defy reason but is one of the most resilient life forms. Well rhymed and in good verse it tells its story in a fairytale fashion. Nicely done
