I admire your choice of two great Irish Poets Brendan Behan and William Butler Yeats who were both gifted by God himself in their poetry. But surely - with the craic - all Irishmen are born poets and raconteurs ! The structure of your poem is excellent - rhyming couplets - (almost) iambic tetrameter - and almost a sonnet (two lines too many !). Excellent content - theme (for a first poem) and use of words - I like "cajole" in line ten to rhyme with "soul" excellent. Thanks for sharing and caring about poetry. Yours BRIAN
