WELCOME TO MPS ~ Thank you for a very poignant first poem. It is a beautifully penned piece of "free verse" poetry pulsating with the rhythm of "unrequited love". Painful yet beautiful to read. In my experience such writing is very cathartic and it helps to ease the pain of the events that unfold in "Today is the Day". Real Men do cry and I wept for you as I re-read it ! Especially the final lines. "I hate you" every time you cross my mind because you ruined that day. THE DAY I COULDN'T WAIT FOR. It happens to Men as well.
