A tide can drown you or give you a mega surf experience. Time is a good servant but a bad master ! Tempus fugit ~ Time does fly and it is the flight of time and the spite of time that you focus on in you opening stanzas. "Ruins your friendships ~ self-esteem ~ trust and (eventually) your fucking life !" There's a lot of truth in that ! You then focus on KNOWLEDGE and (in my experience) a little knowledge is a very dangerous thing and of the making of knowledge there is no end ! Time is a human concept and wearing a watch is an obsession with time ! We cannot stop time ~ we cannot reverse time ~ we all get 24 hours each day ~ coping with it (some say) gets more difficult every 24 hours ! This is the dilemma you explore AND FOR WHAT ?
