WELCOME VP ~ Thanks for your first challenging poem. Churches can lead us astray ~ as well as show us the way ! I too have been to the same Church (Evangelical Christian) for 20 Years but while we have Human Pastors the control is the Trinity ~ Father Son and Holy Spirit who lead us into the Truth. There are many many False Sects and Religions in the World but (as you say) only HE (GOD) can wake us from the deep sleep. The BIBLE says Ask and you will be answered ~ Seek and you will find ~ Knock and it will be opened unto you ~ God is always there for us if we reach out to Him. Every Blessing BRIAN
