WELCOME L I D ~ Thanks for your first poem ~ well written but sad content. We all resolve to say "Goodbye to the Old Me" ~ hope it works out OK for you ! In a sense we all wear a mask ~ when we are out in the "real world". There is a plus (never lonely) and a minus (forever alone) in your last line which give me some hope.
