Wow -- an incredibly powerful and moving poem! It brought tears to my eyes. I'm so sorry for your loss..I have dealt with loss as well, but not in the same way, nor have I had the same emotions. Xx

WELCOME HONEY ~ Thank you for a very personal first poem. I find it very sad but also helpful because I have faced painful death of loved ones (I'm 33) and will again. I trust you found writinf it cathartic ~ I found it helpful. Terminal illnes and its "symptoms" is hard to deal with and you are frank about this. This is your beloved Father and he is acting differntly. You held your daddy's hand but he seemed not to know you. I've read it again and now I'm crying ~ you were very brave and doubly brave for sharing sharing. I'm praying for you ~ BRIAN

Death is an unfortunate reality we all must face...some deal with it in strength and faith...while other cant seem to accept the inevitable....never realizing the pain and heartache the family must endure even after said death. This is an excellent poem...very well done.

Love it Rosie! Excellent rhythm and I didn't want to stop reading it! You're very talented -- keep up the good work 😊 and don't give into peer pressure just to make someone else happy..you are so right! The poem has a great message to it.
