When I was 17 it was a betwixt and between time ~ still a student and not much independence and everybody seemed to be moving away from me ! Like you say ~ i was just a memory in the minds of those i used to hang with. I was studying Science and I got a job (as a process control Chemist) and studied part~time for degree.Be at Work & College gave me lots more friends and I was earning money ! I am now a teacher of Applied Science and love my JOB and have my own Flat ! I.m not married (yet) but i have regular GF and I\'m much more happier and focussed than when I was 17 !
