WELCOME EMOR ~ Thanks for an interesting first poem. It is well written replete with rhyme & rhythm and in a 4 4 4 2 Sonnet form (14 balanced lines !). The content has two interlocking themes loneliness of place and loneliness of heart. I am sure many of our members will empathise with one or both of those situations. I love mountains and often it is much colder on the tops than in the fells ! If alone one gets the feeling of isolation & desolation you describe at the beginning of your poem. On the other hand one can be in the Centre of LONDON but without human companionship or a friend one can be just as lonely and experience nothingness as one would solo on the summit of Mount Everest ! Thanks for caring and sharing ~ BRIAN (UK)
