It’s very... mature. This book seems to be more about getting to know the characters than the plot. I mean the plots there, but the fact that (almost) every chapter is titled after a character leads me to believe that the main focus is in fleshing out the multitude of characters. But Yossarian seems to be the MAIN main character, so there is at least that plot line to follow. There are a lot more mentions of Catch-22 than I was expecting. Before reading this novel I never quite understood what catch-22 meant, but now I do. I love the ending. There are a lot of funny little plot threads throughout the novel, but the last like... 4 chapters are my favorite. However the absence of a major plot is why I am rating it so slow.
