While I very much dislike the fragment sentences I can understand why DeLillo wrote the novel this way. The fragments represent the survivors trying to comprehend/move on with life after September 11. I still very much dislike it though, and I’m not sure if the 3rd person POV helped or hurt my ability to understand the story.
