I didn’t really like this book, but it was a classic and I was determined to get through it one way or another. I went with the other. I didn’t like the fact that the narrator was just know as “the narrator” I wanted to put a name to the person and their actions.
The beginning was slow, but then when the Brotherhood was j traduced it got interesting. The twist towards the end was cool. At least now I can say I’ve read Invisible Man.
Lost at words...the growth the main character undergo is eye opening. The author shows how perception of society can blind our minds from the true. Culturally shell shocked and lost, I could feel his pain. Great book.
