I can’t help but compare the movie to the book. The story jumps right in. Less than 3 pages into the book and you’re back in Narnia. I enjoyed the detailed parts of Caspians journey, which was cut short in the movie. I don’t like the references to Caspian as king though. I’m partial to the Pevensies as kings and queens of Narnia. I felt that the introduction of Caspian to the Pevensies was rushed, and there’s an entire scene that was created for the movie, but it’s no where in the book, which makes no sense. There was a lot more talking, side adventures, and exposition in this book. I was glad for a break from the predictable-ness that the last two books brought. Reepicheep is the best! I love him!
