(Read it for class) I really enjoyed it. It was much more entertaining and intriguing than I thought it would be. I loved Edna as a character and what she was going though. Even though I’m not from her time or her age I felt a connection to her when the narrator describes her mood swings. Even though the ending is tragic it can be interpreted in 2 ways. 1) She is submitting to the life of a submissive wife and mother or 2) She is going out as a rebel, a woman owned by no man and having done what she loved.
