The title is very appropriate for this book in so many ways. I really thought Hollis and Etan wouldn’t end up together and it was going to be an amicable friendship, but no. After a while, I kind of became numb to all the crying scenes. However, I loved Hollis being integrated into the Eastoffe’s family. The big twist in the book towards the end was surprising and it put a lot of characters into a new light. Great end to this duology.
