The is the first translated book I’ve read (book for fun that is). Theis book was more entertaining than I thought it would be. It really makes Anne alive through her words. Before reading this I just saw Anne Frank’s a Jewish girl living in an annex, who was killed during the Holocaust. I know she died as a young girl, but what she wrote in her diary makes her sound like a mature young women. With so much gossip & humor, the fact that they are hiding from Germans slips my mind, until I’m reminded by Anne “Oh, yeah, this was real, she is hiding.” I’m so glad I listened to this book, and I’m not giving it a 10 because it’s a classic, I’m giving it a 10 because it was amazing!
