First read in 2014.
So very far in the future. Second time reading it and I still can’t quite comprehend the world in which Jonas lives. People live strict black and white lives in an ironically gray colored world. They, all of them, no nothing of pain, color, or love. Except Jonas and The Giver. It’s a remarkable concept for a future dystopia/secretly dystopian world.
