It was a slow start. I didn’t really feel invested in the story till the Pevensies’ showed up. I know that this book isn’t about them, but is’t hard to follow “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe”. It started to get interesting after the Pevensies appeared though and I started to get invested. Then there was a battle, and Shasta found out the truth about his past. The antagonist is really good, he’s annoying, mean, naive, and ignorant.
I’m giving it a 6/10 because there just wasn’t enough to like about the book.
