Unlike the previous books, this book seems to favor Jill’s 3rd person perspective. The Lady of green Kirtle is cunning. The Black Knight is naive in the beginning. The realization hit me when I connected the dots about the disappearance of the lost prince. The witch was a good antagonist. Towards the end the book decided to share two perspectives on one event, which I guess was kinda nice but also seemed unnecessary. The ending was sad, but sweet.
