I take my dreams and make of them a bronze vase
and a round fountain with a beautiful statue in its center.
And a song with a broken heart and I ask you:
Do you understand my dreams?
Sometimes you say you do,
And sometimes you say you don't.
Either way it doesn't matter.
I continue to dream.

Comments1Wow, this one really hits deep. Its like the poet's trying to say- even when folks don't get what your hopes and aspiratons are bout, just keep on dreaming. That line bout taking dreams and making a bronze vase, now that's powerful. It's not bout if folks get it, it's bout never stoppin' to dream. Gives you smething to think on, doesn't it?
