Well at least we got a summer this year in UK. It's enough to knacker a stag.
Knackered stag - can you do it in the barbeque?
Actually it's the name of a temporary, or in todays parlance, a 'pop-up' saloon bar which opens in October each year at the end of the rut for only a few weeks.
We'll call in there then - the 1066 Group on here - meets each year in Hastings. Only open to those who were there in person at the time!

I close my eyes and see stags in long velvet coats at a party sipping champagne........
Before a five course dinner including a braised venison platter - I do love venison - game - rabbit, and in fact anything out the common fare.
I have not had good experiences with game meals....... perhaps it was the cooks.....
