Tattoo
Many have tattoos
Including my own son
It’s no longer surprising news
Another has gotten one
Maybe I’ll get one too
A skull or barbed wire
On my arm I guess
For others to admire
With the tattoos there
I’ll wear short-sleeved shirts
And when others stare
I’ll be a rebel worse
I may also get a cross
Tattooed on my hand
And confuse them all the more
As to who I am
Some will show interest
In my signs displayed
And ask me what they mean
And I’ll be glad to say

A fine write w c. I would never get past sitting in the chair (or on the table) stage.
When I see those needles coming at me, it looks like a torture chamber. Does it hurt?! lol.
I have sensitive skin anyway. I might faint too. Ohh I'm a snowflake. heehee.
Thanks, orchidee. I suspect there is a little pain involved. Some think it a small price to be paid for a beautiful piece of artwork.
Because you recognise the dark and light
With this I would see the soul that is so unperfectly perfectly you.
I have what you describe on my hands in my own expression, thank you for sharing this.
Thanks, Dan. I'm glad you could relate.
I never could understand
the signifigence in tatoos.
Thanks Pauly. I guess they let others know who they are without need for words.
what if they are scary ones?
thanks for your reply.
I didn't think about that. I guess others would know to be beware.
Considered romantic/ macho or whatever in the young but quite hideous in old age - never could understand the logic but for those who do good luck to them.
I respect the expression made and try to understand what they're trying to say. Some tattoos are more artistic than others. I've considered getting one, but i've yet to succumb to the urge.
