Singing In The Rain

Singing In The Rain

I went out for a walk

To let the animals see

That I spent time outside

And entertained musically

I know some deer there saw

As I walked and sang

They concluded then and there

That music was my game

There was a rabbit in the road

With his ears perked high

He heard me singing there

And stood as I walked by

Squirrels chattered loudly

From the forks of a tree

And went out on a limb

To applaud and encourage me

A little rain cloud grew

And drowned out my song

Though all the animals knew

I wouldn’t be quiet long

“Singing In The Rain”

Was a classic come to mind

And again I sang

And danced and felt just fine

May your singing in the rain always bring you pleasure.

I think that the musical "Singing in the Rain" is one of the best ever.

Yes, "Singing In The Rain" is a classic. Musicals in general are great. "Grease" is another one that comes to mind.

Thanks, orchidee. I definitely don't dance as well as Gene Kelley.
