More rambling of life

Poetic Dan

A question to the kids I asked
"Do you remember the moment when you couldn't wait to be the age you are now"?

Of course my little unicorn reared up straight away"it was when I was 5 and I Couldn't go on any rides at the pier, not even the bumper cars,"she went on and on until the end

My amazing little buddha  was still thinking away, I could feel he really wanted to join in. I asked him if there was to many to choose from and he just looked at me, I then asked is it because you can't think of one? He promptly replied with a yeah wide eyed and that magical smile.

I told him how beautifully amazing he's brain is that he just lives in the moment of what everything is, from the moment he was born to this very moment. Most of us are searching for what you still naturally are my son, don't ever forget not to try so hard to fit in one day when everyone's life has got to complex for them. You'll see you was the highest path from the beginning

This question came up because of using the phrase "that felt like a life time ago."

The picture I'll use with this is another lesson the boy gave me while walking the dogs. He stop in front of me and I said come on but to my delight we watched five beautiful ladybirds, if not for him I'd still be walking pass all the wonder that's in this world.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I've just spent 3 day camping with no single and feel fresh as a daisy! Lots in my head to get out but this one was done the day before I drove out of the grid. My son Jake is a true special gift to me in his own awesome way, soon to turn 14 and been labelled just on the spectrum of a ADHD and autism from the age of 7 I have my beliefs and the doctors have theirs and I will tell the quacks (doc's), schools him and the whole world, this still doesn't stop him being able to achieve anything he wants too. No one in this planet learns the same way!

    Dan,

I love the endearing names you’ve given your children!

As far as the labeling, you hold on to your beliefs...
and you can tell the “quacks” what to do with their beliefs as far as YOUR son is concerned! You are being a great and caring dad! In this case, FATHER KNOWS BEST!

Yeah her birthday card stood out a mile
      60%unicorn
      40%mermaid
      10%princess
      Sold! Lol

Thank you the support, I've met people on the top end of this "spectrum" to me they are a completely different subject but then aren't we all.

Everyone has a role a rocket scientist didn't build or Clean his lab, no hospital runs on just doc's and pen pushers.

All are equal to the core of helping one another.

You make it plain to see that special children, whom society seems to be unable to cope with, are the ones who teach us so much about ourselves and our society.
My special daughter taught me so much.
I hope you see that other people around your son are benefiting from his company too. We become nicer people.

Thank you buddy I know he does but he's also told a lot of what he can't do, like making friends, holding a conversation or just being able to control himself and finally even be trusted.
He never would with all thoses positive reinforcements 😉

        Always appreciate your comment

The wonder in this world is all around us and children see it and can show us the beauty and wonder that fills the world.
