Two day break (ish)

Poetic Dan

I'm done with my pain but it never goes away

I've just spent two days camping hoping balance was gained

As this world has so much it's hard to take it all in

To hear the children being threatened with violent actions

Seeing toddlers having it screamed they are stupid to their face

I'm feeling me, myself and I in all the energetic vibes

The me who is the projector of all of my fear

Myself that knows the flight absorbed from tears

Then the I that chooses to automatically respond

This new adjustment to align with heart, soul and spirit

Has no limits and with a desire to need everyone in it

I was waiting for you, you was waiting for me

Letting go of our stories to connect deeper within

Putting the 'if' back in life and knowing it starts with us

Thank you I was actually unsure if it made much sense from what had in my head.

      Glad it did, much appreciated

Cambersands and Hastings, the site was lovely but had to tell the guy next to me to turn down his bass.
Kids had a good time so I'm chuffed

Oh lol, getting nearer October - the annual reunion of Hastings 1066. You can join too - have to be very old, and must have been there in person in 1066! A few of us poets will be there. It's completely nutty of course. lol.

Well I drove over but did not go in, the price was a bit high and the kids were not that fussed.

I'm afraid I've been an outlaw all my lives and never will stay behind anyones bars

A couple of days under canvas with children can put new life in heart, soul and spirit Dan - lovely pic. of a more relaxed Dad shows you will soon camp out again. Good read and love that positive final line.

That I will and that last line was inspired by a post I read called IF.

I'm away camping too... but in the van not brace enough for a tent... says the forest girl lol!

You are so reflective and insightful.

I'm just listening to the pitter patter of rain on the roof having a cuppa before the boys wake up.

The internet is terrible so I can't even get on google docs to do some writing!

If I don't write my soul will fall out 😕

A green space is a green space
                  I enjoyed the 5am silence
Sadly the ones next to me, brought a boom box with them.

I write in my head, they are never lost just get transformed when you get to but it down.
                  Have a lovely time

The sense in ya heart dont have to tally with the sense in ya head.. nicely penned and I imagine somewhat refreshing, if not cathartic too............ Neville
