It Should Have Been Me

Reyas

I miss the warmth you brought laying next to me in bed,

My chest feels so light without the pressure of your head,

My hands feel so empty without your hands to hold,

During the winter breeze my lips stay so cold,

I miss the way you made me feel like I was enough,

Being here without you is honestly too tough,

Everyone’s always saying that you’re never all that far,

But I can’t shake the thought that it should of been me in that car.
