Chance (An Acrostic)

AuburnScribbler

Crammed into line we are, preparing our acts, that we’ve

Honed with zealous desperation, in the hope that we’ll get our

Award ceremony. Though sometimes the judgement may not be

Nice, for what brings joy to one, may make another bored, so

Clearly you cannot please them all, but at least you have the right to

Enjoy your opportunity, to shine, to say, that you have been here to try.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This is another visit to the great acrostic poem. This poem is entitled Chance, and is about the hope that we all wish to get something in return, after we have put so much effort into something, but if we do not, we still have the right to have our say and try to succeed. With that said, I hope you enjoy.
