Lay Me Deep Down For The Rest Of Time.

kevin browne

Another ending, another thoughtless crime
Below, lay me deep down for the rest of time
I've reached as far as far as man has walked
Earth has trembled beneath the hearts it took.

I stood my mind beside the greatest of them all
You took a chance that your option wouldn't fall
And when things start turning and burning out
It's in our hearts wherever we lay our doubts.

if once where stood the almightiest of all Gods
Then let's lay our hearts down upon his cross
For father, I ask from all the tiniest of requests
Rejoice in the reunion of all what we know is best.

Every day the same as the tearful one yesterday
But, tomorrow comes so what else is there to say
Well, there's a tongue that's fitting for all occasions
That's the time to sleep in real deep meditations.

Yes, those dreams we see, listen, hear and talk about
Are too confusing they make you pull your hair out
Because of realities functionality to make us cry
Is there any wonder when everyone asks you why.

And a personality of global proportions which lasts
Just like Nelson's Colleum, we'll fly the flag full mast
Swin the rivers, deepen the sea and open beaches
There'll be new islands, new bananas and peaches.

Let's turn a little attention towards the ones who will
They may be hiding away, but it's the love you feel
Forever in the dark is a reminder of what lonely means
Just live life as best you can and live it in your dreams.
